Organizers of the Fort Farmers Market have announced that a seasonal kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, May 6.
As is tradition, the market will be held in “Market Square,” which is the public parking lot across the street from the Fort Atkinson Post Office, 24 Milwaukee Ave., E., according to information released by market organizers.
The Farmers Market will remain open each Saturday through October, from 8 a.m. to noon, with the full Farmers Market season providing 26 daytime Saturday shopping opportunities, the release stated.
Additionally, in 2023, market organizers will be providing two “evening markets” and a wintertime holiday market, the release continued.
This year, the Farmers Market, which is sponsored by Fort HealthCare, will provide shoppers with a “robust season,” with vendors selling locally grown and produced vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, and crafts, among other items, the release noted.
