The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Qēt Botanicals has joined as a new member.
According to information released by the chamber, Qēt Botanicals —pronounced “keet” — is an award-winning provider of natural and safe self-care products.
The company is located at 91 S. Main St., Fort Atkinson.
Founded in 2013 by Lisa Brill, the company is in its 10th year of serving customers across the country.
Qēt Botanicals has become a leader in the clean beauty industry, the release stated.
After struggling with autoimmune complications, rosacea, thyroid issues, sensitivities, and changes in her skin, hair, and overall health, Brill “knew she had to do something different and better for herself,” the release noted, adding “sensitivities to preservatives, synthetic ingredients, artificial fragrances, hormone disruptors, and fillers often found in personal care products led her to create her own formulas for skin, body, and hair products. Since then, Qēt Botanicals has been the manufacturer of all their own formulas for skin, body, and hair. All ingredients are carefully sourced, completely plant-based and cruelty free; nothing is mass produced or purchased premixed. All treatments are made by hand in small, fresh batches right in their downtown Fort Atkinson Studio.”
The company offers a variety of starter and full-sized kits, which include face, body and haircare products.
Additionally, the company offers a full range of skincare treatments formulated to care for a variety of complexions.
“The studio also offers non-invasive and all natural, organic facial services customized for the current condition of each customer’s skin,” the release stated.
Qēt Botanicals has earned more than 30 beauty, hair, and skincare national and global clean and green awards. The company is an Environmental Working Group (EWG) verified brand, a Think Dirty and Earth Day Beauty Award winner, is Leaping Bunny Certified, a member of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a Sustainability Award recipient, and affiliated with other organizations related to safe and ethical practices and ingredients, the release continued.
Qēt Botanicals recently combined its two locations in Cross Plains, Wis., and San Clemente, Calif., to a new space in Fort Atkinson.
Qēt Botanicals is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional hours offered through appointment.
