County: Use VaccineFinder.org to find COVID-19 vaccination sites

Almost 38 percent of Jefferson County residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, Jefferson County Health Department Director Gail Scott reported.

She said the department is proud of this progress and hopes that community members will make their COVID-19 vaccination appointment as soon as possible to continue the recovery to normal.

“Visit our COVID-19 Dashboard to register at https://sites.google.com/view/jeffersoncountywicovid-19/vaccine,” she said.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is now using VaccineFinder to help people locate available vaccine in their community and to connect with a vaccine provider.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched the VaccineFinder tool in March to help provide vaccine clinic information in a simple, easy format and to promote getting vaccinated for COVID-19.

VaccineFinder can provide the following information to users:

 • Days and hours of COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

• Search filter by vaccine type.

• Search by zip code with radius adjustment.

  • View which vaccine providers have vaccine in stock.

Only sites that are open to the public will display. There might be additional vaccination clinics that do not display on the VaccineFinder website. Data populating VaccineFinder is maintained by the DHS and generated through surveys sent to all vaccine providers in the state. Vaccinators can update their public information or turn on/off their profile by submitting changes to the Provider Profile Correction Survey found on the DHS Vaccinator webpage at https://vaccinefinder.org/.
