The League of Women Voters-Whitewater has announced it will be hosting a virtual presentation titled: “Drawing Power: The Consequences of Gerrymandering on Representation in the 2020s.”
The program will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. The featured speaker will be Dr. Eric Loepp, an associate professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
According to information released by the League, Loepp is a specialist in American political behavior. He is also the newly-appointed director of the UW-Whitewater Learn Center.
During the presentation, Loepp will share his insights on the history of gerrymandering, the issues confronting the voting public today, and what lies ahead as political boundaries are redrawn for the first time in a decade.
