A book sale at the Dwight Forster Public Library will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, according to information recently released by the Friends of the Dwight Foster Public Library.
The sale is open to the public from 10 a.m. until noon. Early access to the sale is provided to members of the Friends organization between 9 and 10 a.m.
The Dwight Foster Public Library is located at 209 Merchants Avenue, Fort Atkinson.
According to the release: The sale room has been recently restocked with newly donated books and digital media. There also will be newly selected items offered for sale in the outer room to peruse while waiting for entry into the sale.
To become a member of the Friends organization, inquire at the sale or call: 920-563-7790. Membership offers several perks, the release stated, including early access to the group’s monthly sales and the opportunity to buy a “full bag of books” for $5.
COVID-19 protocols, including the wearing of masks and social distancing, remain in effect at the library.
A limit of eight patrons will be allowed in the sales room at one time, the release continued. Chairs in a “waiting room” will be provided near the entry of the sales room.
The group’s next sale is slated for Dec. 11. Book sales will continue to be held on the second Saturday of each month, according to the release.
The Friends of the Dwight Foster Library is a group that is dedicated to assisting the library in meeting community needs, promoting and participating in library programs, and providing funds for special library needs.
