Thank you hardly seems sufficient to tell our volunteers how grateful
we are for the response to the 33rd annual Fort Atkinson Community
Christmas dinner hosted by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. We couldn’t
have done it without you!
We had over 100 volunteers from Fort Atkinson and beyond who made the job of set-up, food preparation, serving dining room guests, packing carryouts and delivering to the home-bound a wonderful sharing of time, talent and treasure and a beautiful example of the Christmas spirit in action.
This is our third year as recruiters/coordinators for the dinner
and we are always overwhelmed by all the support. This year we posted a plea on Fort Atkinson Online for volunteers, as calls were coming in rather slowly. That one message had our phone ringing merrily! We extend a special thank you to Chris Spangler and Kim McDarison, the ladies who work so hard to make FortAtkinsonOnline the success that it has become.
Fort Atkinson and communities beyond are always ready to step up when there is a need. We are grateful to each and every one of you and hope you will return next year!
May God bless you all with a wonderful new year!
