The Irving L. Young Memorial Library, Whitewater, will be hosting an event titled: “Where are all the Aliens?”
The program will be presented by Dr. Dennis Roscoe, a NASA solar system ambassador, according to a recent news release.
The program is appropriate and open to participants ages 10 and older, and will be held in the library’s community room Thursday, April 14, at 6 p.m.
Registration is not required to attend.
The Irvin L. Young Memorial library is located at 431 West Center Street.
During the event, Roscoe will discuss the “Fermi Paradox, the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence for aliens and the high probability estimates for the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations,” the release noted.
For more information, contact the library director: 262-473-0530. Those in need of special accommodations are asked to contact the library at least 72 hours prior to the event.
