The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and Alden Estates of Jefferson have announced that they will be hosting the second annual “Boo Bash.”
The event will take place Oct. 20, between 4 and 6 p.m., and features opportunities for trick or treating.
According to a news release, 30 downtown area businesses will be participating in this year’s event.
“Most business stops will be within the downtown location,” the release stated, adding that Firehouse Alley will be closed to traffic and some businesses will be handing out treats in the alley.
Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes. A costume contest will be held at Thompson Legal, LLC, 234 S. Main St., Jefferson, the release stated.
A photo booth and “a variety of props” will be available to participants in Firehouse Alley.
The photo booth is sponsored by Jason Marin, Fairway Independent Mortgage Company, the release noted.
Sponsors of the event include: Vintage on Main, Thompson and Company, Badger Bank, Ansay and Associates, MK Cellular, Century 21, The Drug Store, Fort Community Credit Union and Oak Tree Child and Family Services.
