The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce has announced that Fields Accounting & Tax, LLC, has moved to a new and renovated location.
According to information released by the chamber, the changes were celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, March 8.
According to the release, Fields Accounting & Tax was founded in 2005 by owner and principal accountant Clayton Fields.
“Fields works with a variety of clients including individuals, business owners, nonprofits, and financial firms,” the release stated, noting that the company’s services include tax preparation and planning, bookkeeping, and accounting, business consulting, and training, among others.
The tax service was formerly located in the Jefferson Area Business Center, 222 S. Wisconsin Dr. Following the purchase and renovation of its new facility, the company moved to 127 E. Racine St., Jefferson.
The new more than 100-year-old building boasts cream city brick and original wood flooring, the release stated.
In addition, the company recently opened a second location at 238 W. Main St., Cambridge.
