Editor’s note: The Fort Atkinson Lions Club Golf Outing is being postponed, according to its organizers. A new date will be announced, with the event likely rescheduled sometime in September.
The Fort Atkinson Lions Club has announced it will be hosting its 2nd annual golf outing.
The event will be held at the Koshkonong Mounds Country Club, W. 7670 Koshkonong Mounds Road, Fort Atkinson, Thursday, July 21.
The cost for each golfer is $100. The price includes lunch, dinner, a cart and the 18-hole course.
According to the release, registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and the shotgun start is at high noon. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. and dinner tickets can be purchased independently.
The event is open to the public, and golfers do not need to be Lions Club members.
Signup for teams is underway. For those who do not have a foursome, the club can help with team placement, the release stated.
“There will be four par-3 hole-in-one cash prizes along with other fun games on the course,” the release noted.
“There will also be enticing raffle prizes,” the release added.
The Fort Atkinson Lion Club holds fundraisers throughout the year which support many local community programs as well as Lions Club projects such as Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, Wis. The camp provides an incredible opportunity for individuals who have physical, behavioral or health challenges at no cost to the camper, the release stated.
