‘Hundreds’ hunt eggs in Ralph Park

Hundreds of youngsters gathered at Ralph Park Saturday for the annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Fort Atkinson Parks and Recreation Department.

The free event for children 8 years old and under took place at 10 a.m. in very windy, cold and misty weather.

Still, Mother Nature did not deter attendance at the egg hunt, which divided children into three age groups.

Each child could collect up to 20 of the plastic eggs, which contained vouchers to be turned in for prizes.

Making a special appearance at the egg hunt was the Easter Bunny, who posed for photos with youngsters and gave out lots of hugs and high-fives.
