Stakeout: Friendly scarecrows visit Hoard Museum

Four business patrons of the Hoard Historical Museum have placed friendly scarecrows on the grounds to greet museum guests.

The colorful creations will be on display until Nov. 9, Merrilee Lee, director of the Hoard Historical Museum recently told Fort Atkinson Online.

Day Insurance, FCCU, Jones Dairy Farm, and W.D. Hoard and Sons each decorated one of the four scarecrows.

A fifth scarecrow, found near the museum parking lot entranceway, was decorated by the Duck Creek 4-H Club, Lee said.
