Watercolor workshop
The Irvin L. Young Memorial Library and Association of Wisconsin Artists-Bridging Generations will present a watercolor workshop outside on the library lawn at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19.
Children and teens are invited to attend a free outdoor watercolor workshop. Learn about the color wheel, the difference between warm and cool colors, and create a beautiful work of art to bring home. Participants will receive a frame for their artwork, and an AWA ribbon.
Space is limited! Participants must register for this workshop at https://forms.gle/EstFXeaVYd4oUTTq7.
Teen drawing
Dan Gogh will present a virtual Zoom teen drawing workshop, “Drawing 101,” at 6 p.m. Monday, June 28.
Register at https://forms.gle/vYrdbBJeVzmzt2WH6.
If you can draw basic shapes like a square, circle, and a triangle, you can draw just about anything! In this workshop, you’ll be taught how to think about what you are drawing and how to look for the basic shapes in a more complex object. You’ll finish a drawing of a familiar object that is fairly complex, but you’ll discover how much easier it is when you see the shapes!
Fiber therapy
Fiber Therapy Craft Group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at the library.
Register at whitewaterlibrary.org for an invite to this virtual meet-up.
Do you dabble in the fiber arts? Join this virtual craft circle! Whether you knit, crochet, or stitch, you’re invited to unwind and unravel with fellow crafters. Share what you’re working on and learn from others. Beginners and experts are welcome.
This is not a formal class, and attendees must supply their own crafting materials.
