The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that TDS Telecommunications LLC has joined as a new member.
According to information released by the chamber, TDS Telecommunications, or “TDS Telecom,” is a technology company that delivers high-speed internet, TV entertainment, and phone services to a mix of rural and suburban communities throughout the United States.
“Founded in 1969 by LeRoy T. Carlson, TDS Telecom’s goal is to provide advanced technology, invest in the markets, and provide exceptional customer experiences. Today, TDS Telecom is powered by fiber-optics and new industry-leading technologies, delivering up to 8-gigabit internet speeds and offering internet protocol-based TV entertainment solutions along with traditional phone services,” the release stated.
The company has set as a goal a commitment to “improving its culture by becoming more diverse and inclusive,” the release noted, adding that services include businesses VoIP advanced communications solutions, dedicated internet service, data networking, and hosted-managed services.”
The company works to provide “reliable and modern communications services to underserved areas of rural and small-town America,” according to the release.
The company’s headquarters are in Madison.
