Fort Atkinson had a weekend full of poets and poetry, shared by those who wrote along the river and offered their work on Saturday evening at the Cafe Carpe open mic, along with all the businesses who served and supported the events, programs at the Hoard Historical Museum and Dwight Foster Public Library, and those who came from out of town to celebrate Lorine Niedecker’s 120th birthday. To the participants thanks are offered.
Special thanks to Holly Tierney, tourism manager at the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce, who stirred the pot for so much inspiration to so many.
