The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce earlier this month held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Home Instead. The company has opened a location in Jefferson.
The ceremony was held Friday, Oct. 6, according to information released by the chamber.
Within its release, chamber officials noted that the company provides “personalized home care services for aging adults,” including such services as personal care, dementia and respite care, hospice support, meal prep and home helper, transportation and companionship.
Home Instead was founded in 1994 in Omaha, Neb., and today has over 1,200 franchises. The Jefferson location opened its doors in May at 118 S. Main St., Suite 104, the release stated.
“I am blessed with an amazing and fun team,” company president Mindy Ochs was quoted as saying in the release.
Advocating within the release for the company, Jefferson Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Megan Cooper said: “They have such a kind, caring, and enthusiastic team and we’re so excited to have them join our community.”
