Roderick R. McNamee, 72, of Fort Atkinson died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at his home.
Rod was born on January 27, 1951 in Nashville, TN son of the late Douglas and Pearl (White) McNamee. He married Diane Lyke on April 4, 1987 at First United Methodist Church in Fort Atkinson.
Rod sold cars for many years at Krentz Auto Mart and Ten Pin Motors. He also worked for Jim’s Janitorial since 1971.
Rod had a passion for movies, hunting and fishing and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Diane McNamee; children, Michael (Emily Carmichael) McNamee and Melanie (Matt Smith) McNamee; granddaughter, Mira Smith and brother, Patrick (Mary) McNamee. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Wendy McNamee.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson with Mother Mindy Valentine Davis officiating.
Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
