Myrna L. Ward, 73 of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at her home.
Myrna was born on July 23, 1950 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Carl and June (Booth) Pennewell Sr. She married Alan Ward on January 25, 1969.
Myrna had a contagious laugh and was a people person; she loved everyone and was loved by all who knew her.
Myrna is survived by her son, Curtis (Alison Hetts) Ward; grandson, Seth Ward; sister, Maryjane Hebbe; brothers, Rod (Debra) Pennewell and Carl (Wendy) Pennewell Jr; nieces and nephews, Domini (Matt) Otis, Corey (Meredith) Pennewell, Jamie Pennewell; Casey (Meg) Pennewell, Brady (Sabrina) Pennewell, Tyler (Asia) Pennewell, Liz (Michael) Riley, Abby Pennewell and Ben Pennewell; she is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alan Ward and best friend, Bonnie Johnson.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. A celebration of Myrna’s life will be held at a later date.
