The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its “13 Greens Revival Golf Outing” in August, according to information released by the chamber.
The event was last held two years ago, the release stated.
This year, the release noted, “a group of chamber members formed a committee to bring the annual golf outing back,” which, the release continued, is why the word “revival” has been added to the title.
The golfing and networking event will be held Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Jefferson Golf Course, 913 Golf Dr., Jefferson.
A registration period and lunch will begin at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start of the golfing event scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
Those interested in registering for the event are encouraged to visit the chamber’s website: jeffersonchamberwi.com or call the chamber: 920-674-4511.
Interested golfers are additionally encouraged to register soon as there are only a few spots remaining.
Also, as noted within the release, for those who would like to mingle during the registration period and lunch, but do not golf, or would like to attend the awards presentation following the outing, there are two meal-only options available. Lunch will be served by Buddha Belly Pizza. The awards ceremony will be held at Playa Vallarta.
According to the release, new this year is a 50/50 Ball Drop, sponsored by ChemAir. Proceeds from the activity will be used to support the chamber’s leadership program.
Within the release, golf outing committee member Ralph Lassa said: “When organizations connect at events and outside of their places of business, camaraderie and a business community is developed and perpetuated. The more goodwill and positive connections we can foster in our community, the stronger we are.”
Also within the release, Chamber Projects Coordinator Jen Pinnow noted that golfers will have a first-hand look at the housing development that is underway running down the spine of the golf course. She added: “The Jefferson Golf Course has done a great job adapting to new cart traffic patterns throughout construction. We appreciate their flexibility.”
Sponsors for this year’s event include: eagle sponsor, Bobcat; Birdie sponsors, Badger Bank, Edward Jones Tom Moore, Fort Healthcare, PremierBank, SK Windows, and Stable Rock Winery and Distillery, and “other sponsors,” including Ansay & Associates, FOCUS Coworking, Jefferson Community Foundation, Awaken Salon and Wellness Spa, Pickett Masonry, Ace Insurance, County-City Credit Union, ChemAir, Cloute Inc., Fairway Mortgage, Fort Community Credit Union, JelKar, LLC, John’s Disposal, Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home, Pratt Brothers, Sunset Ridge Assisted Living,, and TLC Transport Services.
