Steve A. Armin, 63, of Hebron passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Steve was born on October 25, 1960 in Milwaukee to Ervin and Betty (Keller) Armin. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Steve served the United States Marine Corps for four years. After his military service he earned his BA in Education at UWM and continued his education earning his Masters degree at UW Whitewater. Steve and Dawn married in 1990. They enjoyed their rural home which they shared with their pets including, Izak, Muffin, Gideon and Brad a 36 year old Parrot. He taught High School Chemistry and Physics and a variety of Science classes at both Palmyra/Eagle School District and Parkview High School in Orfordville, Wisconsin. Steve was a big guy with a big personality. He had a great sense of humor and his students enjoyed how he incorporated humor in his teaching.
Steve enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, woodworking, teaching, cooking, time at home with family, and eating. He was an avid writer and in the process of writing a book. Steve was a wonderful and loving husband to Dawn. He was kind and generous and full of life. Steve will be missed by many.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; sisters-in-law, Kathy Kramer, Sharon McGinnis; brothers-in-law, Michael (Lori) McGinnis, Patrick (Kelly) McGinnis; dear friend, Rick Grams; nieces, Samantha (Ty) Walcker, Katie (Pat) Rock, Angela (Dominic) Wheeler; nephew, Luke McGinnis; many friends and students.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Betty Armin; brother, Jeff Armin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifford and Joan McGinnis; and brother-in-law, Todd Kramer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnels to Towers.
A memorial service will take place at 3PM on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, WI 53072. Visitation will take place from 1:30PM until the time of service.
