‘Grow Solar’ program discussed on ‘What’s up? with Michael Clish’

The “Grow Solar Jefferson/Waukesha Counties” volume purchasing program is the topic of discussion on our newest edition of “What’s up? with Michael Clish.”

The program is designed to educate people about solar energy and devise opportunities to fit their structures with renewable, clean energy-generating solar panels. Participants enjoy cost benefits from the group buying structure.

The program is a collaborative effort among Fort Atkinson’s Heart of the City, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and the Waukesha County Green Team.

Members of the discussion panel meeting with Michael include Frankie Fuller, president of Heart of the City and a user of solar energy generated from panels installed on her home; Peter Murphy, solar program director with Midwest Renewable Energy Association, and Steve Tesmer, a Fort Atkinson resident who is considering having solar panels installed at his home.

Addressing the Fort Atkinson City Council recently, Fuller said that this is the second time Heart of the City has sponsored the program with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association. The nonprofit organizations have identified All Energy Solar for solar installations. The company has offices in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Massachusetts.

This episode of What’s up? with Michael Clish is sponsored by Heart of the City.

The above flier shows times available to participate in a free educational Solar Power Hour. The hour is presented through Zoom. To sign up for the Solar Power Hours visit the website: jeffersonwaukesha.growsolar.org.
