Raptors topic of Sept. 14 Fort Atkinson Woman’s Club meeting

Dianne Moller of Hoo’s Woods Raptor Center will keynote the Fort Atkinson Woman’s Club meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

The gathering takes place at 1:15 p.m. at the Hoard Historical Museum, 401 Whitewater Ave., Fort Atkinson.

“This wonderful event is open to the public and anyone interested in joining the organization is invited to stay after the presentation for a brief meeting of the club,” club member Trudianne Thom noted in a recent press release.

The presentation is planned to last for an hour. Masks are required at the Hoard Museum.

Located in Milton, Hoo’s Woods helps birds of prey through rehabilitation, education and conservation.

Moller will introduce attendees to several of Hoo’s Woods’ education raptors, including a bald eagle, Victor E., and at least one owl.

Fort Atkinson Woman’s Club members and guests will learn about the birds’ natural history, breeding, habitat and behaviors.

Refreshments will be served following the meeting.
