First Congregational Church has announced it will be hosting a “Christmas MiniMart,” Saturday, Dec. 4.
The event is scheduled to take place at the church, 31 W. Milwaukee Ave., Fort Atkinson, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will feature holiday products and treats for sale.
According to information released by the church, among items for sale will be the church’s “famous ‘Congregational Peanuts,’” as well as quilts, a rummage table sponsored by The Evangelism Board, and Lend-a-Hand will be selling mincemeat, chocolate fudge, Pfeffernusse, straw brooms and Rada cutlery.
A booth operated by a Color Street Nail Independent Stylist will also be available.
Additionally, the event will include an array of raffle baskets which will be on display. A drawing for the baskets will be held Sunday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fort Atkinson Homeless Coalition.
The event is free and open to the public.
As a COVID safety protocol, organizers are encouraging participants to wear masks, the release stated.
