The Friends of the Dwight Foster Public Library, a nonprofit group, has announced it will hold its next book sale Saturday Jan. 8.
The sale will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to noon.
The sale will be held at the Dwight Foster Public Library, 209 Merchants Ave., Fort Atkinson.
According to information released by the group, members of Friends of the Library are invited to take advantage of early access from 9 to 10 a.m. Members in 2021 may take advantage of this hour to renew for the 2022 year.
Persons interested in becoming a member of the Friends of the Dwight Foster Library also may shop early and join on site during the sale.
Another member perk on sale day is a full bag of books for $5.
Sale room access will be limited to 10 at a time due to the increased COVID-19 cases in the area and facemask usage will be strictly enforced, the release stated.
The sale room in the Fort Atkinson library recently has been restocked with newly donated books and digital media. In the outer room, there will be newly selected items offered for sale to peruse while waiting for entry into the sale.
The next sale will be Saturday, Feb. 12. Sales will continue to be the second Saturday of each month.
The Friends of the Dwight Foster is dedicated to assisting the library in meeting community needs, promoting and participating in library programs, and providing funds for special library needs. Members offer volunteer and financial assistance to the library.
