Due to expected dangerous and icy conditions, the following buildings will be closed to the public all day Tuesday, Feb. 22, and will reopen Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 8 a.m. unless otherwise noted, according to a news alert released Monday by City of Whitewater officials.
The following buildings are affected by the alert:

City Hall/Municipal Building.

Irvin L. Young Memorial Library.

Senior Center/Starin Community Building.
-
White Memorial Building and Armory.
-
Whitewater Aquatic and Fitness Center (to open Tuesday at 4 p.m.).
-
Parks and Recreation After School Programs (Whitewater Unified School District is also closed).
For nonemergency police issues, call the police department at 262-473-0555, ext. 4, or use the intercom in the vestibule at the Municipal Building/Police Department front entrance on W. Whitewater Street to reach dispatchers. For all emergencies, dial 911.
