Whitewater League of Women Voters offers spring election ballot information

The League of Women Voters – Whitewater Area has released information for voters in anticipation of the April 5 General Spring Election.

Information notes that several jurisdictional races will be found on the spring ballot, including those of regional judges for the court of appeals and circuit courts, as well as city councils, school boards, and boards that govern counties, villages, and towns. Some communities have also placed various referendums on the spring ballot.

The league encourages voters to become informed before casting their ballot.

According to information shared by the league, a source of nonpartisan candidate information is the league’s voter guide: VOTE411.org. Voters visiting the site will find candidates’ responses to the league’s questionnaires.

Constituents can also visit: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/My-Ballot and enter their address to see a sample ballot.
