Linda Coy, 63, passed away peacefully Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Rainbow Hospice Center in Johnson Creek. She was born in Janesville, WI, to Lois Elaine (Bratzke) and Jerome Alva Burdick on March 27, 1959. She is a graduate of Craig High, class of 1978.
She moved to the Jefferson/Fort Atkinson area in 1980. She met her husband Herb Coy and was married in May of 1983. She worked in nursing, started her own cleaning business, Top Mop, and then worked for the family business, Burdick Real Estate/BC Property Management.
A woman full of smiles, laughter, a sense of humor anyone would love, a big heart and a love for giving. She enjoyed singing, sitting around a campfire, traveling, spending time with family and friends, also a good cup of coffee.
She is survived by her 2 children, Michael Lee Burdick and Melissa Marie (Coy) Strohbusch. She has 7 grandchildren, Jaylin and Trinity Burdick, Caleb and Cheyenne Coy and Soraya, Nova, and Treyton Strohbusch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Jerry and her husband, Herb.
There will be a celebration of life from 1pm until 5pm, on Sunday, May 15th, at the Fort Atkinson American Legion.
Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
