The Fort Atkinson Club (FAC) community center has announced the return of its Summer Patio Concert Series.
According to the announcement, concerts are held on the third Friday within the months of June, July and August, from 6 to 8 p.m., on the FAC patio, which offers views of the Rock River.
The FAC community center is located in downtown Fort Atkinson, 211 S. Water St., E.
Concerts will be held in the FAC theater, on the community center’s second floor, in the event of inclement weather.
The first concert will be held Friday, June 17, and will be performed by Tapestry.
According to the announcement, Tapestry, “a local favorite,” is a five-piece string band consisting of guitars, fiddle, mandolin and banjo. The band plays “progressive folk” music. Band members include Tom and Mary Pat Cook, Roger Rumppe, Jan Nielbler and Gail Ladish.
The concert is free and open to the public. Beverages and snacks will be available for sale and donations to the FAC are welcome, the announcement continued.
