Award-winning watercolor artist Ron Stocke will be hosting a workshop alongside the Whitewater Arts Alliance in September, according to information released by the alliance.
Stocke has been painting for well over 30 years and is delighted to instruct a class with a relaxed atmosphere, the release stated.
Students will take a three-day course to learn the core concepts of en plein air watercolor painting.
The event will be held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 23-25, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day at the Cravath Lakefront Center, 341 Fremont St., Whitewater.
Students will use the landscape to create their masterpieces.
Additionally, the release noted, Stocke will be selling his book “En Plein Air: Watercolor” each workshop day. Students are welcome to buy a copy or bring their own for signing by Stocke.

A full three-day workshop cost for alliance members is $260; for all others, the cost is $325.
