Jefferson County Sheriff Paul Milbrath reports that on Sept. 16, 2022 at 5:56 a.m., deputies responded to a single motorcycle crash on County Trunk Highway E south of Interstate 94 in the town of Concord.
Preliminary investigation at the scene shows that the motorcycle was northbound on County Trunk Highway E, traveling at a high rate of speed, when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The lone occupant on the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Wisconsin State Patrol, Watertown Police Department, Jefferson County Emergency Communications and the Jefferson County Medical Examiner.
The incident is still being investigated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, but speed is a contributing factor in the crash.
