David F. Dahms, 85, of Fort Atkinson, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at Fort Memorial Hospital.
David was born on July 26, 1937 in Fort Atkinson, son of Francis and Alice (Pruefer) Dahms. He attended Cambridge High School and was salutatorian of his 1957 graduating class. He then attended Milton College for 2 years and later worked for Nasco for more than 30 years.
David is survived by his cousins, Al (Karen) Pruefer, Sandy Pruefer, Cynthia Shanklin, Judy Johnson, Mary Renz, Carl (Joan) Pruefer, Mary (Bill) Jeffery, Greg Dahms, Helen Dahms, Debra (Tom) Brejcha. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Alice; sister, Bonnie Dahms; cousins, Don Pruefer, David Shanklin and Charlie Pruefer and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Friends may call from 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the memorial home until time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials in memory of David may be made to Rainbow Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
