First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Atkinson has announced it will be celebrating Polka Music Sunday, Oct. 23.
According to a news release, the Dave Austin Polka Band, from New Glarus, will lead the music during the 10 a.m. worship service, with the Rev. Dr. Sara Rabe officiating.
The service and celebration is open to the public.
A “German fest” luncheon, complete with brats and sauerkraut, will follow the service, and visitors are invited to stay and enjoy the meal, the release noted.
First Congregational United Church of Christ is an inclusive congregation welcoming all persons, including those of all races, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, family structures, faith backgrounds, abilities and economic circumstances. Masks are optional and children are welcome in worship services. The church is handicapped-accessible.
The church is located at 31 West Milwaukee Ave., Fort Atkinson.
