The Whitewater Arts Alliance has announced that its Members Show will be available for viewing in the Whitewater Cultural Arts Center beginning Friday, Nov. 4, through Sunday, Dec. 3.
According to a news release, the show will feature 2D and 3D works made by alliance members.
In addition, the release states, anyone can become a member of the Whitewater Arts Alliance by completing a membership form and choosing a contribution level. Those who are not members but would like to submit artwork for the show can join the alliance by visiting https://www.whitewaterarts.org/membership or can drop off their forms at the gallery, 402 W. Main St., Whitewater.
Excluding Thanksgiving week — Nov. 11 through 27 — the gallery will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
An opening reception will be held at the gallery Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. The public is invited and attending the show and reception is free of charge.
Some items in the show will be made available for purchase.
Those members interested in submitting art for inclusion in the show are encouraged to bring up to four pieces that have been completed within the last two years. Submissions may be 2D or 3D pieces. All participants will be entered in a blind drawing for a free 2023 Whitewater Arts Alliance membership. The drawing will be held during the opening reception.
Participating members of the alliance may bring their art and completed forms to the Cultural Arts Center gallery on Sunday, Oct. 30, between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Members are encouraged to visit the arts alliance website to find online forms. Forms also can be mailed to the Whitewater Arts Alliance: P.O. Box 311, Whitewater, WI 53190.
When submitting membership forms, checks may be made payable to the Whitewater Arts Alliance.
