The Fort Atkinson Community Foundation has announced that website access is available for those looking to make applications during the 2023 scholarship season.
According to a news release, access is available through a website called “Fort Scholarships.”
Those visiting the website will find eligibility requirements for many scholarships, along with their associated application materials, the release noted, calling the site a “one-stop shop.”
In all, applicants will find 41 scholarships offered through the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation, along with others offered through the Fort Atkinson High School, the release continued.
To access the the information, students are encouraged to begin their scholarship search on the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation website: www.fortfoundation.org where they will find a comprehensive list of all the scholarships offered by the foundation, along with their eligibility requirements.
Once potential applicants have determined the scholarships for which they are eligible, they can click on the link directing them to the Fort Scholarships application website.
Applicants accessing the Fort Scholarships website will be able to create an account and begin working on their application. The site offers a single application that can be used for all of the scholarships for which that applicant applies, the release stated.
Additionally, when selecting scholarships, the release noted, applicants will be offered an opportunity to review eligibility requirements, ensuring that they qualify for those scholarships for which they are applying.
Applicants also are offered an opportunity to work on their application in steps and intermittently, meaning they can begin an application process, save their information, and return to the application later.
For most scholarships open to high school seniors, an application deadline of Feb. 1, 2023, applies. For scholarships open to undergraduate, graduate and vocational tech students, a deadline of April 1, 2023, applies.
