After a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, “Brew with a View” is returning to Korth Park in the Town of Lake Mills.
Thanks to the partnership between the Jefferson County Parks Department and Tyranena Brewery in Lake Mills, Brew With a View serves as a fundraiser for Jefferson County’s parks.
Three family-friendly musical events are scheduled at the park’s Hilltop Pavilion. They kick off Thursday, June 24, with the Ryan McGrath Band performing a mixture of blues, country and rock music from 5 to 8 p.m.
Beverages will be served by Tyranena Brewing Company. Along with its alcoholic options, the event will feature Tyranena’s house-made Root Beer Soda.
Food vendors will be El Grito Taqueria, Crawfish Junction and Big Daddy O’s BBQ.
Future events will take place July 22 and Aug. 19. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawnchairs or blankets.
Perched atop a lush hill, Korth Park is located minutes from downtown Lake Mills. The 89-acre venue boasts a massive timber-frame pavilion, miles of prairie walking trails, a large playground and spectacular views of Rock Lake.
Due to limited parking, the Jefferson County Parks Department requests that attendees carpool whenever possible.
The park also is accessible via an offshoot of the Glacian Drumlin Trail. Its GPS coordinates are 43.076003,-88.947695.
Located along Korth Lane, the park closes at dusk.
