Carol J. Hoffmann, 76, of Fort Atkinson, died on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Carol was born on December 18, 1947 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Alvin and Margaret (Lemke) Pfeifer. On April 15, 1967 she married Bill Hoffmann at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.
Carol worked for over 27 years for the Fort Atkinson school system. Prior to this, she was a florist at Humphrey Floral, where her talent for creating floral arrangements flourished. Her skills extended to sewing as well and she enjoyed attending craft fairs.
Carol’s culinary talents were well known. She loved to cook and bake, creating desserts especially for family and friends. Family was the cornerstone of Carol’s life. She found happiness in spending quality time with her family and friends, often engaging games of checkers or cards. These simple pleasures, combined with her warm and loving personality, left lasting memories in the hearts of those who knew her.
Carol is survived by her husband Bill Hoffmann, daughter, Jill (Brian) DeMaster and son Jeremy (Crystal) Hoffmann; grandchildren, Andrew and Kaitlyn DeMaster, Echo Watters, Leo and Ruby Hoffmann; sisters-in-law June (Randy) Dustin, Betty Riess and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Donny (Bev) Pfeifer, Harvey (Lorraine) Pfeifer, Gerald (Joanne) Pfeifer and Merlin (Laurel) Pfeifer.
A memorial service in honor of Carol’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Carol will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
