Letter to the editor:

I am writing to the voters on the Whitewater School District to use your vote for Thayer Coburn on April 4th when voting for the upcoming school board election.

I have known Thayer for 10-plus years, and have seen his dedication to community and school through philanthropy to different community and school organizations, such as but not limited to the 4th of July celebrations, The Community Space, Aquatic Center, as well as a very generous scholarship to a graduating Senior of Whitewater High School. His commitment is also apparent in his 12 years on the school board, as well as seeking another term during very tumultuous times within the district.

Based on Thayer’s past experience on the board, his common sense approach, fiscal responsibility, and adaptive thinking and problem solving abilities, I think it makes Thayer a clear choice for your vote.  Thayer’s reelection will continue to strengthen our district, in turn strengthening our children within the district.  Get out and Vote Thayer Coburn on April 4th.
