The Fort Atkinson City Council approved Tuesday appointments as recommended by Council President Chris Scherer and City Manager Rebecca LeMire placing city council members on various committees, boards and commissions, as well as appointments recommended by LeMire placing citizens on similar bodies.
The following council member placements were approved:
- Airport Committee: Chris Scherer
- Ambulance Advisory Committee: Megan Hartwick
- Cable Television Committee: Mason Becker
- Economic Development Commission: Bruce Johnson
- Finance Committee: Mason Becker, Megan Hartwick
- Historical Society Board: Brandon Housley
- Library Board: Megan Hartwick
- License Committee: Megan Hartwick, Brandon Housley
- Ordinance Committee: Bruce Johnson/Mason Becker
- Park & Recreation Board: Mason Becker
- Plan Commission: Mason Becker
- Public Works Committee: Megan Hartwick, Bruce Johnson
- Sex Offender Residence Board: Brandon Housley
- Tourism Commission: Brandon Housley
- Transportation & Traffic Review Committee: Bruce Johnson

The following citizen appointments were approved:
Cable Television Committee:
- Matthew Bills for a five-year term ending in 2026 (reappointment).
- Mark Thomas Bernhardt for the remainder of a five-year term ending in 2024 (appointment).
Economic Development Commission:
• Bill Camplin for a three-year term ending in 2024 (reappointment).
• James Nelson for a three-year term ending in 2024 (reappointment).
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board:
• Don Neste for a three-year term ending in 2024 (reappointment).
• Steve Mahoney for a three-year term ending in 2024 (School District Representative; reappointment).
