The 2022 School District of Fort Atkinson Board of Education Candidates forum has been released.
The online-only YouTube-platform forum features independent interviews with four candidates running for two open at-large seats. Candidates serve three-year terms.
This year, the names of four challengers: Sam LaMuro, Matt Loup, Chris Rogers and Robynn Selle, will appear on the April 5 Spring General Election ballot.
The two top vote-getters will win board of education seats.
The four candidates participated in a video-taped interview moderated by longtime radio personality and journalist Michael Clish.
To accommodate candidates with plans for spring break, the forum was filmed on two different days and at two different locations. Two candidates — Loup and Selle — were filmed Friday, March 18, at The Bridge, a banquet and events hall located in downtown Fort Atkinson, and two candidates — LaMuro and Rogers — were filmed Tuesday, March 22, at the Hoard Historical Museum.
During the interviews, each candidate was asked the same series of questions.
Candidates were given two minutes to make an opening statement, two minutes to respond to each question, and two minutes to make a closing statement.
