The 2023 Online School District of Fort Atkinson Board of Education Candidates forum has been released.
The online-only YouTube-platform forum features independent interviews with three candidates running for two at-large seats. Candidates serve three-year terms.
This year, the names of incumbents Kory Knickrehm and Amy Reynolds, and one challenger, Matt Loup, will appear on the April 4 Spring General Election ballot.
The two top vote-getters will win school board seats.
The three candidates participated in a videotaped interview moderated by longtime radio personality and journalist Michael Clish, on Tuesday, March 1, during which time each candidate was asked the same series of questions.
Candidates were given two minutes to make an opening statement, two minutes to respond to each question, and two minutes to make a closing statement.

What a great resource for informed voting. Thanks to the online publication for putting this forum together. We are lucky to have three enthusiastic supporters of public education in Fort. I really liked Matt Loup’s closing statement. Michael Clish is a community treasure!
