The First Congregational United Church of Christ (UCC) in Fort Atkinson has announced that three individuals have joined as new members.
Last Sunday, according to the announcement, Madylynn Green, Sophie Klopcic and Ellie Norris were confirmed during worship.
The release noted that Madylynn is the daughter of Julie Green and Bryan Green, and granddaughter of church member Tammy and Bryan Green.
Sophie is the daughter of Ryan and Kristi Klopcic, and granddaughter of church members Richard and Jane Klopcic.
Ellie is the daughter of Amy Lueder and granddaughter of church members David and Ann Lueder.
According to the release, First Congregational UCC was founded in 1841.
The church stands at the corner of West Milwaukee Avenue and Grant Street.
The Sunday worship service is at 10 a.m., with summer worship from, June 2 to Sept. 1, at 8:30 a.m.
Communion, using elements of grape juice and gluten-free bread, typically is served on the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to partake, the release stated.
The church’s confirmation program begins in September and culminates with “Confirmation Sunday” in the spring. Family membership is not required for students to participate, the release read.
