First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Atkinson has contributed $500 to the Homeless Coalition of Fort Atkinson.
The congregation donated proceeds from its pie and ice cream social at the Fort Atkinson Community Band Concert in Barrie Park Monday, June 17.
Organized by the Church Relations Ministry, the event marked the second year that church members have held a band concert ice cream social to benefit a nonprofit organization. Last year, proceeds went to the Unity Project of Fort Atkinson.
