FOCUS Coworking, a company providing shared office space for remote workers and a member of the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce, has expanded to a second location.
According to information released by the chamber, FOCUS Coworking has opened a second office at 230 S. Main St., Jefferson.
The company, which was founded in 2018, provides low-cost, shared office space for freelancers, remote workers, entrepreneurs and business professionals. The concept provices flexibility, with a range of options, including shared office space, dedicated desks and private offices. There is no longterm commitment, and patrons can choose between monthly memberships and day passes, both of which include complimentary coffee, WIFI, phone booths, mail service, use of conference rooms, access to office printers and monthly business-building events, the chamber’s release stated.
With more people working from home, shared workspaces have been in steady demand. FOCUS Coworking currently serves 25 businesses in its main location at 148 E. Milwaukee Street in Jefferson. A second location will allow the business to offer three additional office spaces, owner Damon Schopen noted within the release.
“We will continue to expand into this building in the next couple of months with additional offices, a kitchen and a conference room. Our goal is to help startup businesses outgrow our space and eventually need their own space,” Schopen was quoted as saying in the release.
