The Fort Atkinson Senior Center, in conjunction with World Pulse Travel, with agents based in Fort Atkinson, has announced that a “travel show,” titled: “The Spotlight on Boston,” and featuring a “walk through” of a five-day itinerary for an upcoming tour, will be held at the senior center.
The activity, which will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m., is open to the public.
The Fort Atkinson Senior Center is located at 307 Robert St., Fort Atkinson.
According to the release, Boston, which holds a place in history as “the birthplace of the American Revolution” is “overflowing” with history and New England character. The city also is home to Harvard University and the John F. Kennedy presidential library, which, the release noted, are two highlights of a Boston city tour, scheduled for June 20 through 24, 2024.
As noted in the release, a presenter from Colette Tours, which advertises its touring services on its website, will “walk attendees through the five-day itinerary, highlighting stops at Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and the Old South Meeting House, as well as Buckman’s Tavern in Lexington. The tour can be customized to include a harbor sunset cruise, a visit to Fenway Park, or a walk down the Freedom Trail to ‘Old Ironsides’ herself, the legendary USS Constitution,” the release read.
Those who are unable to attend the travel show are invited to stop by the Fort Atkinson Senior Center to pick up a tour brochure, the release continued. The senior center is open Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Space for the tour will be held until Dec. 20, 2024, according to the release.
