Fort students celebrate Youth Art Month with style

The School District of Fort Atkinson is celebrating Youth Art Month with dress-up days next week.

From Monday through Thursday, March 22-25, students and staff are encouraged to dress in certain hues, take a photo of themselves and then submit them to a Google form at: https://forms.gle/faA9b1p6vsgAL7RX8.

One winner from each level — elementary, middle school, high school and staff — will be chosen daily.

On Monday, everyone is to dress like a color wheel, and on Tuesday, dress as their favorite artist. Wednesday is Pattern Day and Thursday is Color Wars.

For Thursday’s Color Wars, elementary school students’ colors are: kindergarten, red; first grade, orange; second grade, yellow; third grade, green; fourth grade, blue; and fifth grade, purple.

At the middle school, Thursday’s colors are: sixth grade, blue; seventh grade, yellow; and eighth grade, red.

Thursday colors for the high school are: ninth grade, orange; tenth grade, green; eleventh grade, purple; and twelfth grade, pink.

School district staff are to wear black and white on Thursday.
