The Homeless Coalition of Fort Atkinson has announced that it will be holding a public meeting at the Dwight Foster Public Library, Fort Atkinson, Wednesday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m.
The Homeless Coalition of Fort Atkinson is a nonprofit organization that formed after Keith Lueloff, a 53-year-old homeless man, was found dead in December of 2018 at the Lions Park pavilion in Fort Atkinson.
According to information released by the coalition, the meeting will include details about the group, its leadership and progress made in 2022.
In addition, those in attendance will learn about the homeless situation in Fort Atkinson, and receive an update about the group’s transitional housing capital campaign efforts begun in 2021, along with funding challenges faced by the group and its resources.
After the meeting, the floor will be opened to attendees who would like to ask questions, the release stated.
An earlier story about the coalition’s efforts to raise $200,000 to create two transitional housing units is here: https://fortatkinsononline.com/homeless-coalition-seeks-funds-to-open-two-transitional-houses/.
