In case you missed it: ‘Radio Ron’ recites ‘Bullets & Bravery’

The “American Patriotic Pops,” Fort Atkinson Community Band played from the bandshell in Barrie Park Monday. Community members were treated to a potpourri of patriotic songs.

Sharing the stage was Fort Atkinson’s “Radio Ron” Stelse, who recited a poem he wrote titled: “Bullets & Bravery.”

Ron “RadioRon” Stelse has worked within the radio industry for 45 years, including three years spent reading for the blind. He has also worked with computers, from mainframes to PCs, and serves as a tennis instructor. Among his hobbies, he enjoys computer chess, watching public TV and working on audio projects.
