With warm weather, hiking, but not skiing, skating, held Saturday at Haumerson’s Pond

Members of the Friends of Haumerson’s Pond held their annual Ski, Skate and Hike on Saturday at the Fort Atkinson Bark River Nature Park, although the lack of snow and recent mild temperatures canceled the skiing and skating.

Even so, an evening candlelight hike along the trails was popular. The event also featured toasty bonfires, music by an Irish band and a concession stand operated by the Rock River Clovers 4-H Club of Fort Atkinson.
