State Rep. Scott Johnson has announced that his office will be holding an in-district listening session.
Fort Atkinson
According to information released by Johnson’s office, the announcement comes in the wake of a failed school funding referendum in the spring election. Most recently, the release states, the Fort Atkinson School District announced at a school board meeting, the district would not be renewing contracts with 17 teachers.
The listening session will be held Friday, May 5, between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Fort Atkinson High School, 925 Lexington Blvd., in the school’s auditorium.
Milton
Information released Tuesday by Johnson’s office announces the addition of a listening session to be held at the Milton High School, Tuesday, May 9, between 5 and 7 p.m.
According to the release, “The announcement comes in the wake of a number of failed school funding referendums in the spring election, Milton included. Most recently the Assembly GOP just rolled out a shared revenue plan to help local governments.”
