As stated in the release, Krausse “is a big part of the Luther staff. She has taught fifth grade at Luther for 17 years. She is an experienced, veteran teacher that meets students where they are and helps them make growth in the areas of literacy and math. (Krausse) is a patient and calm educator that places a lot of value on building a positive community within her classroom.”

Responding to a question posed within the release, asking Krausse what she liked best about her job, she was reported to have said: “I love that fifth-graders are mostly independent and (one) can establish a great connection/relationship with them. (It’s a) fun age to be a part of.”

Within the release, an individual identified as “a colleague,” was guoted as saying: “Mrs. Krausse is a standout teacher because of her dedication to her students. Not only does she deliver effective lessons, but she monitors and adjusts in the moment to meet the needs of all. She makes lessons meaningful and relevant to keep students engaged. Mrs. Krausse creates a safe community within her classroom for all students to feel welcome. Her own love for learning is inspiring for her students as they grow into inquisitive learners.”

Also within the release, an individual identified as “her teaching partner,” was quoted as saying: “Kara Krausse is an outstanding teacher and teaching partner. Both of my boys had her as their fifth-grade teacher and she has an amazing ability to engage and inspire students. Her classroom is an engaging, inclusive community where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. My boys adored her. On top of being an amazing educator, Kara is a wonderful teaching partner and I feel so blessed to work with her because she inspires and challenges me. I couldn’t imagine teaching with anyone else.”

The release continued: “Kara is a team player and collaborates well with her colleagues to help lift her craft which benefits all of her students. Kara has a calm presence about her but holds students to high standards. And, guess what, the students meet her high expectations because of her ability to connect and create meaningful lessons that students transfer into their everyday learning.”
